Experimental Short Film 2004
A short film was commissioned for the Date Festival in southern Iran in 2004. A film with a two-page surreal script and Continuous scratches, The imperfections and beauty of uncertainty, in a land full of symbols and rituals. This film, in its content of gratitude and seeking blessings, had to be made in a Sublime and mythical place. In a place where death constantly overwhelms birth. The same addressless deserts of the patient people of the south, whose imaginative minds are rooted in them.
The inner and outer space of this desert and its people gave me a platform for a pure experience. An experience that involved avant-garde ideas that seek the essence of cinema in non-cinema.
This assessment of my perceptual ability to challenge the rules of the story and the narrative line of cinema was for a special and romantic surrealism. Moments that were represented in the desire to touch the invisible, perhaps indescribable. Despite the risk of the power of symbols, I tried to powerfully advance feeling or imagination towards form. Even if by trial and error. I have always loved Klut and it will never end for me.
